Olivia Martino Blodgett, MS, RD, LD, CPT is registered dietitian, personal trainer and owner of Nourish Northwest. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education with a concentration in nutrition from Ithaca College, a Holistic Health Counselor certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, a master’s degree in nutrition from Bastyr University and has completed a dietetic internship at Washington State University. She is also certified in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management. Prior to starting Nourish Northwest, her professional experience included working at WIC , providing nutrition services to low income pregnant women and young children, and at a pediatric obesity center in Louisville, KY. Here she gained experience counseling children and families for dietary management of obesity related medical conditions. She also taught weekly nutrition and cooking classes for kids of all ages and worked as a personal chef, creating healthy delicious meals for busy families.
Olivia is excited to be back in the Pacific Northwest and to continue to inspire clients to improve their health and well being. She believes that health and enjoyment of food should co-exist and is passionate about teaching her clients how to find this balance. She loves showing people how to make eating healthy practical and delicious! She specializes in weight management, food allergies, gastrointestinal health and general wellness.
Olivia also has a passion for fitness and is an ACSM certified personal trainer. She teaches HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), TRX and boot camp classes at Nourish Northwest. Olivia has worked as a dietitian for several years and found that her most successful clients were the ones who had an exercise regimen in place. She believes that exercise should be fun and that movement should be incorporated into daily life for optimum health. Olivia guides her clients to use body weight exercises, cardio intervals, free weights and TRX straps to keep exercise fun and continually challenging. She enjoys showing clients that they are able to push themselves harder than they had thought possible and when they do so, they see amazing transformations and feel incredible. Working with Olivia will motivate, inspire you and get you in shape fast!
