If you prefer a more one-on-one experience during your workout, Nourish Northwest also offers personal training and private yoga sessions.

Whether your goal is to lose weight, prevent injury, gain muscle or train for an event, the staff at Nourish Northwest will work with you to set realistic goals and to take steps to achieve them.  We will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to train at home, keep your workouts fun and challenging and most importantly see results.

We will design a customized fitness program that is tailored to your specific fitness level and preferences.  You can expect sessions to include a mix of flexibility, cardio and strength training to maximize results.  Most importantly, you can expect external motivation and encouragement from our team!

Our Personal Trainers

 

IMG_5202Olivia Martino teaches HIIT, TRX and Boot Camp at Nourish Northwest and is also available for one on one sessions.

Olivia is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer.  Olivia has worked as a dietitian for several years and found that her most successful clients were the ones who had an exercise regimen in place.  She believes that exercise should be fun and that movement should be incorporated into daily life for optimum health.  Olivia guides her clients to use body weight exercises, cardio intervals, free weights and TRX straps to keep exercise fun and continually challenging.  She enjoys showing clients that they are able to push themselves harder than they had thought possible and when they do so, they see amazing transformations and feel incredible. Working with Olivia will motivate, inspire you and get you in shape fast!

 

 

 

 

 

 

IMG_5294Christy Johnson teaches  TRX and Boot Camp at Nourish Northwest and is also available for personal training sessions.

Christy Johnson, BS, NCSF-CPT, NPTI is a certified personal trainer through the National Council on Strength & Fitness as well as a graduate of the National Personal Training Institute of Portland. She also holds certifications in TRX and Kettlebell training.

After completing her bachelor’s degree at the College of William and Mary, Christy spent three years working in the education field, primarily in special education with children of all ages. During this time she also coached high school ultimate frisbee, leading her team to two state championships! She has been an athlete all her life, playing competitive soccer, basketball, field hockey, and ultimate frisbee, as well as running in races as often as she can train for them!

Christy became a personal trainer as a way to combine her passion for fitness and teaching; she loves to educate and empower her clients, and loves to help everyone discover their inner-athlete! Fitness and wellness is a 24/7 job, and she can’t wait to be a part of your team. Having fun while working hard is Christy’s motto!

 

 

 

IMG_1307_2Lily Gil teaches HIIT and Boot Camp at Nourish Northwest.

Lily is a NASM certified personal trainer, avid fitness enthusiast, and recent transplant to Stumptown. She graduated from Colorado College with a B.A. in Sociology, and worked in a Denver-based non-profit for a year before moving back West to Portland and finally getting personal trainer certified. 

Lily has a passion for fitness that has led her to eagerly attempt everything from aerial silk yoga and barre classes, to boxing and crossfit (some of which will remain a one-time experience). In addition to exploring new fitness trends, Lily stays active by hiking with her 3.5 legged Golden Retriever, running, rock climbing, and trying out her own HIIT workouts. 

She loves helping others achieve their fitness goals and looks forward to motivating and encouraging you to work hard and push your limits during her Tuesday HIIT and Bootcamp classes!
