Olivia Martino Blodgett, MS, RD, LD, CPT is registered dietitian, personal trainer, personal chef and owner of Nourish Northwest. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education with a concentration in nutrition from Ithaca College, a Holistic Health Counselor certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, a master’s degree in nutrition from Bastyr University and has completed a dietetic internship at Washington State University. She is also certified in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management. Prior to starting Nourish Northwest, her professional experience included working at WIC , providing nutrition services to low income pregnant women and young children, and at a pediatric obesity center in Louisville, KY. Here she gained experience counseling children and families for dietary management of obesity related medical conditions. She also taught weekly nutrition and cooking classes for kids of all ages and began her work as a personal chef, creating healthy delicious meals for busy families.
In addition to her nutrition certifications, Olivia is also an ACSM certified personal trainer. She loves all activities that include movement, from hiking to yoga to a highly intense boot camp. She has found that exercise is a crucial component of her own health journey and loves creating and coaching her clients through fun and challenging workouts.
Olivia believes that health and enjoyment of food and movement should co-exist and is passionate about teaching her clients how to find this balance. She loves showing people how to make eating healthy practical and delicious. She specializes in culinary nutrition, plant-based diets, food sensitivities, gastrointestinal health, maternal and childhood nutrition and general wellness.
